A Somerset Mall regular. Long before there were apps for it.

We opened in Somerset Mall in the early 2000s, when "breakfast all day" meant the eggs were still hot when the lunch crowd walked in. Two decades later, the menu has grown, the coffee has gotten better, and the chairs have moved a few times — but the schnitzel still gets ordered by the regulars who started coming when they were students.

Family-owned, table service, hot food cooked to order. Walk in, sit down, take your time. The mall is busy — we're the quiet table inside it.

Where exactly is Café Olé in Somerset Mall?

Shop 33 on the ground floor, closest to Entrance 2. Coming through the main mall entrance, walk straight ahead — we're on the right, before the food court.

What time does breakfast stop?

It doesn't. Breakfast is served all day, every day — right until we close at 19:00 (17:00 on Sundays). Walk in at 4pm and order Eggs Benedict — we won't blink.

Do I need to book a table?

Walk-ins are always welcome — you'll usually find a seat without waiting. For groups of 4 or more, especially Saturday mornings, please phone ahead so we can set the table.

Is there parking at Somerset Mall?

Yes — the mall has covered parking on the lower levels and open parking on the roof. Free for the first three hours. Entrance 2 is closest to us.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We have vegetarian dishes on the menu, and most plates can be adjusted for gluten-free or dairy-free with a quick word to your waitress. Halaal-friendly options on request.

Can I order takeaway?

Yes — almost everything on the menu travels. Phone ahead with your order and we'll have it boxed and ready when you arrive.
